200 hrs seems to be the magical number eh? Actually with the 1Plus2.2, I have the stock cable as it's 2.5mm. I'm guessing you're thinking I have the Brise but that's a 4.4mm for the WM1Z.

If I'm not mistaken someone made a post in the thread about his successfull experience of getting the DX200 to work as a USB digital transport for an external DAC using the Hiby or another third-party player software. I wonder if USB Audio Player also does the job on DX 200...
The Mango player supports USB output to an external DAC without the need for a 3rd party app.
I just tried it using pure Mango via USB out to my Shozy Magic DAC/Amp and also to my Hilby external USB DAC and both worked perfectly after rebooting.

I just brought a otg usb-c adapter and try but it didn't work on pure Mango or Android mango mode. I tried hiby app it detect my DAC but lots of static sound.

Strange as both my external DACs worked fine. I have not tried any apps with it yet as I didn't need them. I found it is necessary to reboot once they are attached. I am also running the latest firmware.
IMO all amp etc, need burn in. I have found that I heard changes on the DX200 even up to 500 hours. It becomes more and more refined sounding and subtle music cues become more evident as the background seems to become backers and micro detail increases. A smoothness comes about without loosing dynamics and detail. I am not comparing to the WM1Z as the 1Z burns in but IMO the DX200 is better than the WM1A, and even though I have said it a few times, I repeat it because with all the resources that Sony has, I felt the 1A could have been better. To me, the 1Z is a step up from the 1A and more in line with the DX200.
