As i understand dx200 is very close to lpg and sony, or even in the same league. Ofcourse it's just initial imressions of one person. Need more time and people to draw final conclusion
from what i read is he said the signatures are different betwen sony wm1z and dx200, where dx 200 is more of the typical sabre signature, while the wm1z is meaty and full sounding
From what he said, the dx200 should be the DAP everyone want as it sounds in the same league as WM1Z, has DAC standalone function, and pricing at sub $1,000. That is so damn awesome already, and in my language that means it is better than wm1z

To all, you are welcome, will say more when I have more. A this stage it is hard to say with many iems to try.
the dial and buttons are very good. The UI is more buggy than the Sony's, but clearly faster.

LOL, as an enthusiast I do not turn a blind eyes on any interesting products. For DX200 to sport dual ES9028Pro....that is the first of it kind, why wouldn't I be staring at it
I only liked the ex1000. That's a classic from Sony. Then again one of the New hybrid models (XBA-N3AP, not XBA-N1AP) is actually a very very good mid fi offering, one of the first earphones at that price range that i would recommend. Of course it's not TOTL, but it's a great earphone nonetheless.
If the DX200 can drive full size headphones with additional amps to be released.I think we have a real winner here especially considering the price point.Hopefully the headphone DAC is well implemented and that Tidal and Spotify get full support.
That's an interesting perspective - it surprises me. I haven't heard the DX80, but I would absolutely not, in any way, consider the ZX1 to sound even remotely similar to the DX100, for example...
