Cowon J3 Impressions Thread

There is an easy way to fix this if i'm correct, someone mentioned it in this topic earlyer. It was due to a thinner layer of glue because of the electronics in that part of the device. Luckily i've never experienced this problem.

I have the same thing with my J3 and I believe most if not everyone who has the J3 has the same issue. I opened the J3 screen on my 2nd J3 before I exchanged it (I thought it was a defect at the time) and I saw the reason for it. There is a double sized adhesive that goes around the edges of the screen but the bottom right is where there is some other stuff as well so the adhesive is not covered as well as the rest of the J3. I probably should have taken pictures but I didn't really see the need for it.

Ive had two both with the same problem kept the one which is barely noticable the other was so bad you could get your fingernail underneath it. Emailed dadaudio(cowon uk) in uk about repairs under warranty which they agreed to but havnt had it done yet as i can live with it. Theres plenty of thread about this on other sites.

I've figured out how to install it. The folder that comes in the zip file pretty much has no use correct if you have all your album art set correctly?

dfkt: The ZIP you downloaded doesn't contain a folder because I forgot to add it. I corrected it later.

But as long as all your files have album art it's no problem that you don't have this folder, it just contains alternative album covers.
