Good to know . One final question do you think my tv or any modern tvs can output the full 192khz or are they always limited to 48. The smart tvs have spotify apps built in and such similar apps. My plan is to use this dac mostly for the sounds when watching tv, anyway i am curious.

Spotify is lossy 16/44.1 PCM and no where near 192. Tidal is also 16/44.1, but can stream lossless CD quality. The differentiator between the two is the codec - lossy vs lossless - and the bit rate, not to be confused with the bit depth. Streaming audio will be 44.1 (not going to get in to a discussion about MQA). I'm not sure if the TV is re-sampling everything to 48kHz or not. Dolby Digital and DTS are also lossy codecs.

Honestly, as Elviscaprice mentioned, if using the TV to output the audio then the limiting factor is the streaming apps, the TV, or the source music/movie. At the end of the day I wouldn't worry as the Hugo would still sound great. 48kHz vs 192kHz will yield a minor, if any, audible difference from the TV and I'm pretty sure you won't find consumer content that streams from the TV at 96/192kHz or discs with 96/192kHz content. My advice, don't worry about it at all.

I'll also just mention that the mix/mastering/production of audio has a far greater impact on the quality you hear vs any increase in sampling rate, and the Hugo upsamples everything internally anyway to a far greater amount with better quality than any TV and most other audio gear can do.

I can only tell some of those formulas like

1.) mass correction factor for things reaching closer to speed of light (e.g particle accelerator) sqrt (1-V/c^2) (shows that you can't go faster than the speed of light)
2. Famous E=mc^2
3. A sugar chemical structure (fructose maybe)?
4. Some random algebra equations and exponential/scientific notation
5. Double Helix DNA
6. Geometry shapes
7. Riemann Sums
8  Sine graph with a tangent line to show amplitude

etc

What does the "Crossfeed" actually do? I couldn't really find much on it..

Ex. Red, Green and Blue lights. What do they actually do?

There are quite a few posts by Rob Watts discussing crossfeed. Here are a couple, but just search the DAVE, Hugo, Hugo 2 threads using the keyword crossfeed.

As to the question is crossfeed good?
Some people like 0 crossfeed, some like a bit, and others like full crossfeed - conclusion is that the answer is very individual, and only you can discover the answer.

That's not the friendliest post I've seen on Head-Fi.

OOPs, thanks for pointing that out.  I've never heard a TT or seen one.  Good to know, it definitely went down a notch with this knowledge.
The rather expensive high voltage ultra capacitors 10,000,000 microfarads worth are certainly not being sidelined they are centre stage in instantaneous power delivery

Funny enough, I was never a big crossfeed user except for hard-panned older music.  But, I found it useful when listening to 'Jazz Side Of The Moon,' which I bought last night.  It seemed to bring a little focus to the stage, where without, I actually heard that inside-the-head effect.
So, it just depends on the recording and personal taste.

I bought that CD a while back, so it will now become a test disc for H2. :grinning:

I KNOW tha "Posting Makes You Smarter." When I started, with my first 50 or so posts, I was a "Junior Head-Fier." And no one listened to me! When I got all the way to 1.500 posts, I became a "Headphonius Supremus." (And STILL, no one listens to me!)

Once we know then one stops buying for two years ? Or we know but we know we want newer stuff?
