Sure and that's what I call being very transparent. It also does not exclude it having a slight tint of its own.
Yeap

PWD2 is warm but the GS-X mk2 adds to it. Much less warm on the Soloist or B22 for instance, same PWD2. I would actually say that the PWD2 is more highly dynamic and natural sounding than warm. Warmth without rolled top or sense of being laid back on compressed.
Yup. Difference is the GS-X mk2 like the PWD2 isn't dynamically dead or rounded like the B22. Let's not confuse warm with laid back.
I would add that the mk1 is not warm. Same circuit but different devices and bias levels. Compared to the original Dynalo models the mk2 is a bass monster. I've had a few over the years
Finally I pulled the trigger and bought a demo pair from klutz design which he brought to a hi end show. Barely used and about 1000 dollar less than the retail price you gotta pay if you buy it in sweden, so i'm happy.
Altho the X sounded amazing, I couldn't refuse buying the 3 cause of the price, and cheers! Altho I will get it this week i'm so excitedYeah, Michael @ Klutz Design told me. Congrats!
1000$ off sounds amazing... wait... msrp in EU is 2650$... 1000$ off sounds fair
I've got a serious question to the GS-X mk2 holders, before I make my move, people here rant about Transparency and all and there was some raving going on about the Bryston BHA-1, which I went to listen to at some point, and thought it made my LCD-3 sound unnaturally bright, would you say that the GS-X mk2 is a bright amp as much as BHA-1 or is it much less so?
