Didn't put it up for sale yet.  I should be getting one of the beta HE1000a in house in a few days.  But yes, I'm really liking the Abyss.

Only if I like the HE1000 better I will sale the HE-6.  I know of one person that does not particularly like the HE1000.  I shall see.

Can anyone show me how to connect he6 to speaker amps? I think I need to make a connector myself which has a female 4pin xlr to banana plug adaptor?

Is there a tutorial which show me how to make a female 4pin xlr to banana plug adaptor? What materials do I need, what cable do I use?

Thanks!

I'm thinking about getting the HE-6 someday and I'm wondering if Audio-GD's NFB-1 amp will be a good option. (8 watts at 40 ohms) I'll likely get the Master-3 speaker amp or Emotiva's XPA-2, and I think those amps (which both do 250 watts at 8 ohms) might be about a zillion watts too powerful.

To tame stuff a mid-fi sounding amp would be good. More seriously try the fuzzor mod. The Rag tames things some but not midfi level. A good (speaker) amp will let your hear the source better.
