Electrical noise coming from audio out port.

I have a problem on both my desktop and laptop with electrical noise coming out of the audio ports. I know on my laptop it is because of something stupid I did with a usb port that caused leakage from the usb port onto the audio port. On the desktop it is probably not caused by my audio card...

Need advice on which to buy!

I listen to a somewhat wide range of music, mostly alt-rock and EDM, that being said, there's also rap/hip-hop, indie, pop, and metal in my playlists. I used to own a pair of Skullcrushers by Skullcandy. I loved the deep bass that they provided, but they broke (on my own account), so I traded...

    Need low budget headphones

So my friend gave me 30 bucks to buy some headphones. He plans to mostly use them for gaming, but maybe also some music. He listens to all kinds of music so that isn't much of a big deal. I've been looking around, and the JVC HARX700 sounds like the best dead i'm not completely sure though.

    Something better than the LPs

Anything out there in the 150+ dollar region that blow these things (Vmoda crossfade lps) out of the water? Looking for something great for Electronic Music (Makina, Freeform, etc) Over ear. These were fun for a bit, but now they aren't so special. Home or Portable, it doesn't really matter...

Panasonic RP-HTF600-S Stereo Headphones vs Sony MDR-XB500 40mm XB Diaphragm Driver Headphones

I made a thread earlier wondering what headphones I should get for under $80. So far, I am considering these two. One is cheaper, and one looks ULTRA comfy with heavy bass. What do you think I should get? And what in the world is an amp for your headphones?

Looking for new headphones. I am in between Panasonic RP HTF600, KRK KNS 6400, and Shure SRH440

I recently got some sennheisser hd220s and I really enjoyed them except they were incredibly uncomfortable to wear for more than 5 minutes.  They were too tight and I would constantly try to adjust them but it never improved.  So, I've been reading all over the internet to decide what to get for...

Is there a difference between the Panasonic RP-HTF600 and the Panasonic RP-HTF600-s?

After reading countless glowing reviews on the Panasonic RP-HTF600-s, I immediately logged onto ebay and ordered these:   http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160709968429#rpdId   In my haste, I didn't notice that the model number was slightly different (the one I...

Panasonic RP-HTF600-S compared to Sony XB500

I tried the Panasonics for about a week or two, burned in for at least 50 hours.   I currently own the Sony XB500, burned in for maybe 30 hours.   First off these are two excellent headphones, for a few reasons, price, comfort, and of course sound quality, these are traits I found in...

How does Panasonic RP-HTF600-S compare to my ATH-M50 and Skullcandy Aviators?

Hello guys,   I currently own both the ATH-M50 and the Skullcandy Aviators.  I like the Aviators for their more open soundstage, less recessed mids, but find its clarity and fidelity to be not as good as the M50s, which I like for their good, tight bass and sound clarity.  I listen mostly to...
