Jvc ha s500!!!! They are on ear BUT a simple mod makes them over eat (HM5). And if you don't like the bass it's boostable!!

They are a little over your price but not a lot if good choices for 20. For 35 you can get monoprice dj headphones. But the s500 are great

For around $30 you can get the Panasonic HTF-600s, which fit your criteria exactly (except the price).

I think you will be much happier expanding your price range to $50. there are much more choices and it will be much better in the long run.

Pretty much your only option in that price range would be the Koss KSC75's. As the others have said, you'll likely get a better value by expanding your price range. The KSC75's are very good beginner headphones to get you into the hobby, though.

Yes! The portapros are great headphones and you're more likely to find them on sale than other models. But, I wouldn't particularly reccomend them to someone who is looking for boosted bass. It's not that the portapros are lacking bass, they're just not extremely bass heavy.

Check out the JVC S400 and S500, and the Koss DJ100.

This is a bad joke. Koss portapro's are emblematic of dark, bassy headphones.
