F* the iPhone
apple doing something is one thing, but to think that other companies are going to be adding a touchscreen also because they have missed this brilliant idea is ridiculous, IMO they will do it because alot of people will think that a device missing it will be inferior. this happens all the...- audionewbie

F* the iPhone
would like to point out that just because manufacturers put something like touch screens on devices doesn't mean they are better, it means they think that is what the gullible public want. are you naive in general or just about about obvious things like this?- audionewbie

Maryland mayor's home raided, dogs killed; apparent victim of drug scheme
they didn't check with the local police. you'd think they would do a background check first but no, shoot first ask questions later.- audionewbie

Need consulting on some great cans!
how the hell can you not know how to use this site if you managed to register and post. a bit of searching to find out a rough idea of the likely candidates is a good idea also although not sure i was able to do that when i posted for help. i did however, not start throwing a tantrum.- audionewbie

Maryland mayor's home raided, dogs killed; apparent victim of drug scheme
Shooting a dog that was running away from people breaking into the house, big men, if that had been a guard dog, they wouldn't have had time to feel threatened. if they knew where the package was going, why didn't they do a check on the occupants? shoddy police work IMO.- audionewbie

Olympic Games 2008 thread - Sports only!
yep, and to see what, some people faffing about. unfotunately, people take the olympics too seriously and IMO, lose perspective of what it should be about, not sure what it is about, but it shouldn't be about winning or medals.- audionewbie

Where to begin with classical music?
just buy a compilation and see what you like. tchaikovsky(sp) is something always worth listening to IMO but might not be to everybodies tastes. i like you, like to broaden my horizons and went with the compilation albums. a good way to start. also check out beethoven, his moonlight sonata...- audionewbie

classical music setup
being on a headphone forum, i doubt anyone will recommend those evil creations called speakers. however, depending on the volume, even headphones can sound like speakers, tinny speakers but speakers none the less.- audionewbie

going with the more humanist option are we, good for you. i fail to see how anyone could really stop the boat thing, it wouldn affect anyone else really, perhaps go for the viking style and have it set ablaze. good luck anyway.- audionewbie
