Which has better synergy with a DAC1, HD650 or D5000?

So I'm taking the plunge and getting the Benchmark DAC1 Pre and for now at least, I'm going to use the built-in amp. My question to those who have heard these is, which is a better synergy with the DAC1, the Denon D5000 or Sennheiser HD650 and why?

Come on, anybody? From what I've gathered, the DAC1 is a bit on the cold and analytical side and would not be the best pairing with the reserved HD650. The Denons are supposedly warmer and might balance the DAC1 better. Can anyone verify or dispute this, I have no firsthand experience? Thanks.
