hello guys

just got my nano and is contemplating to get an earphone.

i heard about the cx400 and i thought the price range was rather within budget, but does anyone have any other opnion about headphones that are of similar price range but much better quality?

If you can find the right tips, iM716s are an amazing option in a similar price range (they're rather comfy with Shure tips).

AFAIK, CX400 never seem to be sold in Singapore officially. Since you are in Singapore, why not visit either Jaben@Adelphi or Stereo@Causeway Point to check out the selection they offered? In between both of them, you probably can find any headphone you are looking for (unless they are rare).

get a pair of Ultimate ears Metro.fi 2 (metro.fi 200 now) far better built, far better sound.

no. AH-c351. better than cx-400. i have it. i live in singapore too. You can buy cx-400 at simlim farle enterprise for 149 if you wear a student's clothes. and AH-c351 for 129. ah-c351 has better sound-stage than cx-400 and the weirdness of the sound can be equalized to be better than cx-400 by alot.

Also consider the JBL Reference 220 if you can get it at that price range!
