I ordered a pair of these seeing as it was a great deal, I understand they are discontinued and I was wondering if the warranty is still intact? I read you contact altec lansing but what would they replace them with?

So i listen to my sr80s straight out of the headphone jack on my macbook, and i am just wondering what a safe volume to listen to is. Is there anyway you can check how many decibels your headphones are pumping into your ears? I usually have the volume on my macbook no more than half way up. So...

I have the sr80s and they will sound awesome with metal, I dont use an amp with them straight out of my macbook and they do the trick for me

this is exactly what happened to me, I had to return them because i felt like a fool, Im happy with my sr80s now though

they will most likely fit, however i tried some atha700s a while ago and while they were very comfortable and all I could not keep them because they looked ridiculous on my small head, they are huge

so my sr60s are starting to rattle when deeper bass hits only in the left side, i contacted grado and they told me to send them back but i was wondering if there is a quick fix for this?

anyone know of a reputable source to buy some used cans?(other than the trade or sell forum)

also another question, is a standard home reciever all that i need for an amp? Im a student on a pretty small budget so whatever i can cut out will help.
