so my sr60s are starting to rattle when deeper bass hits only in the left side, i contacted grado and they told me to send them back but i was wondering if there is a quick fix for this?

this is a hair stuck between the cloth and the driver... search for "grattle" and you'll find lots of threads on this

I had the same problem. And I think I just solved it. I removed the earmuffs and removed all the hair there (there were quite a lot) and then I covered the back of the headphones and blew on the front twice, making the diaphragm pop out twice. I guess there were a wrinkle on it or a hair in there. They work really good now, even on low bass!
