Sorry if this topic has been raised before..I have the Beyers. There has been marked publicity regarding the He 400. Both seem to be the same cost. Which is better sounding? I do like good bass I listen to chill ou musict, or anything apart from classics. A good acoustic beat is my preference...

Because I have also done the same and I agree, the music is amazing with much better depth etc...the zo seems to add another dimension...I dont understand but I thought more individuals had caught on to this strategy

I have these headphone with the digizoid zo and the bass really shines!

Just for fun I connected PA2V2 to Fiio E5( used it like a preamp) and the bass was great..I'm sure maybe not an acceptable thing to do! But it seemed to work for me..

I played around with the M50 and the Sony xb's and though the M50 are very good I seem to enjoy the XB 700 more with the PA2V2 amp..more of the fun slam and yet reasonably clear otherwise..still have the M5o also...

I have the ath m50 and in NZ Sennsr seems to be the ultimate in headphones I think the ath m50 rocks with my PA2V2 amp. Also try the sony 7506 or sony xb 700, which I also enjoy....

I have just acquired a PA2V2 from Gary. I will be sending for another. The best service available, a man who loves his product and always willing to help. Also he makes fantastic a amp with beautiful sounds...

I use the Total Airhead with my xb 700 and the sound is just excellent. I don't really know if I need an amp but the xb bass just seem to get better. I have both the xb 700, 300 and ath m50 and they all have their individual sounds but I am so glad I stayed with the xb as initially they seem to...

I think 1 Time and others are absolutely correct as I had the chance to listen to some high end phones and they were no better than the ATH etc with a good amp. Recently I revisited my sony 7506(I think that is correct!) and they sound also quite beautiful though my favourite is still the ATH M50.

I agree as I do love the xb700 though I don't know what I should do now!!! I am tempted at the price to get the m50 also. I recently purchased the sony v7506 also and fear that maybe I should have got the M50's instead..drat!!!

I think I will stick with the sony xb 700 and as Mad Lust Envy states, I may not get much better going for the ath 50...any further comments or opinions on this dilemma

Is the ATH- m50 the same as the ATH- pro m50 and does it matter??? Thanks for any clarification..

I am aware of the price difference and most likely the 780's are much more advanced but is the bass comparable in quantity and quality between these two headphones..any comment will be appreciated.
