Xb700s are more balanced.
Hits lower as well, but less punch. People say they have bright highs, im not too sure whats meant by that...coz i quite used to the sound and dont find it harsh or anything

Try the Ultrasone Pro 900, strongest bass I've heard. Although that doesn't say much, because I've only heard the Sennheiser HD580, JVC RX900, Beyer Dynamic DT150. Those have zero bass compared to the Ultrasone, which is awesome in this regard (not too keen on the harsh highs).

yeah you gotta have a budget....some of these headphones require an amp to sound good. otherwise you can see the price skyrocketing up to 1k or even more.

RX900's should have decent bass, but yes Ultrasone Pro 900's are very bassy headphones.

But how it is about the Pioneer HDJ-2000 ?

It's an excellent headphone, though pricey. If you're looking for bass monsters, these will probably disappoint you. They have excellent detail and clean bass (especially for DJ cans), but do not thump.

My underdog recommendation would be the Phiaton MS 400.

XB500 if you want bass cannons. they have a ridiculous amount of bass, to much IMO. with an amp they are just insane! enough volume and you'll begin to feel them trying to push air past the giant pillow-like ear pads. they can definitely cause some nausea, not to mention permanent hearing damage.
