Can you guys name any good amps for 30 dollars or less. I know it's a small amount, but it's what I have to work with.

The only amps I know of (that are under $30) are Fiio amps and CMoy amps. A Fiio E5 is pretty decent and very small. CMoy amps are good, but I think they are only good if you make with the best parts (not buying premade).

I think i might up my budget a bit and get a pa2v2. Would it be a good amp for some mid level $80 etys?

Am I going to have to buy any other cables seperately to connect the amp to my iphone?

You can use either a mini to mini cable or a LOD (Line Out Dock). The LOD will give you much better sound quality then the HO.

For a variety of LODs, just google (or "head-fi" it) iPod Line Out Dock. You will get tons of hits. Or you can get a DIY'er to make you one.

Will that iBasso work ok with an iPhone though? I've heard iPhone LOD cables need to account for the iPhones built in speakers and therefore are made a little differently.

I have just acquired a PA2V2 from Gary. I will be sending for another. The best service available, a man who loves his product and always willing to help. Also he makes fantastic a amp with beautiful sounds...
