The sequence in which is tested probably matters. If you use a 3rd party app right after the first boot the app wont play. If you first play somthing on the mango player or youtube or something and than use the 3rd party app than they work and keep working til lthe next reboot. It looks like...

There are more issues then just the battery drain with the new firmware. When it just booted and i try to play a song in roon it says roon lost control of audio device. Plexamp tries to play but just stops. Then i play a video like on youtube or plex and stop playback. Now playback on roon...

Same here. Having way faster battery drain than on the previous android 9 version when idle so now i shut it down when not in use. (but that is kind of annoying)

Just put a wooden baton of around 30cm or so between the cups for a night. (like the round baton of a kubb game) that will stretch the nitinol headband just a little. (suposidly nitinol will always return to its same position but ir worked for me to just make them a little wider)

I can not recommend those DJ44AG. It did not take long before the fit got too loose and my 2.5mm trrs cable is not making a good contact. Maybe i just got some bad luck or both of my 2.5mm connectors are not up to standards or something but thought i should mention it.
