I never noticed the clipping cuz all ive ever had are encoded versions of the cd. I guess thats one benefit of using ripped music.

how come californication has such a bad rap? I was listening to one copy of the cd encoded at 128 kbs, then I listened to my flac encoding. The flac has clipping on every song. Is this normal?

thats a pretty interesting thing to listen too. you should take these things into a forest or something and record nature. That would be a fun listen.

are you sure your making a good seal? If your not used to IEM's they may feel very intruding. But you pretty much have to shove them into your ear canal and twist unless they seal right. If you dont have a seal then most of the sounds gets out and not in.

Ive listened to my marshmallows in the shower before. I couldn't get a seal once water got into my ears though.

My girlfriend calls me everyday when I talk about headphones. I was roller blading on lake shore drive today and I thought i says those $500 custom IEM UE5 I think. I pointed them out and she just rolled her eyes.

u could go to guitar center and try to get them to knock down the price on the dt770's. Thats how i got mine for 150+ tax

I always sleep with my marshmallows in, it takes a few tries, but i can usually position my head so i dont feel them at all.

I dont know about that, these new dt770's I got put new meaning to a long cable for me. I thought the sr60 was long, and the 770's put them to shame.

I agree with Micheal, the people here are in the minority of all the people who listen to headphones. Even the people who buy $300 headphones arent always people who know that a cable can change the sound. So for the companies, its just an unnecessary expense.

I think I got a good deal from them though, because I was just price quoting the dt770's from the for sale section. I don't think I have ever seen a new pair for that cheap.
