Looking to buy a set of budget earbuds which don't leak OUT sound for a neighbor who plays her music way too loud and which leak horribly.

I'd like to spend under $30, and they need to be discreet / portable (i.e. in-ear headphones preferred). Any suggestions? So far I'm thinking the Sennheiser CX-300. Suggestions appreciated.

Creative ep-630.

It's my favorite on the go earphone, doesn't leak, provides isolation, Y-cord, and sounds great.

x2. almost as good as the ridiculously priced vibes. i'd go with the 630's any day over the vibes.

Yep, EP630 are very good for their price.

Oh and if you do get the ep-630s, watch out when buying on ebay, there seems to be a number of fake ones.

Avoid ebay all together when purchasing CX-300 or EP630, the risk to get a headphone that is a little cheaper isn't worth it when there's a possibility of a receiving a fake one

I've had both the JVC HA-FX33 (the Marshmallows) and the Sennheiser CX300 (essentially the same as the Creative EP-630) and I found that the CX300 outshined the Marshmallows, with or without mods.

So my vote goes to the EP-630/CX300, if you can spend the extra $10 over the Marshmallows.
