Have anyone received NaLe? Just wonder if there is any chance for them to arrive by Christmas

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Finally found time to AB my latest IMR collection. SOG is insane value for money, very close to Ozar with slightly different bassier tuning, however Ozar feels a bit more detailed and the stage is wider. DM’s are the bass and mids miracle and after long burn the amount of highs got to acceptable...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

They were sibilant in the beginning, but it got improved over time quite significantly. I’m over 350 hours on ACE on both blue stem and filter, my new favorite combo and while they have forward lower highs with peak at 6-7 KHZ (good for older people) they are absolutely tolerable. I guess they...

Are you using black stem with ACE? I'm at around 80 hours now and AB ACE with DM daily. I don't expect them to dethrone the DM. They had very dull highs out of the box but started to open up noticeable. Highs still seem to seat behind mids and the bass except 8Khz peak I perceive. I wish them...

JVC Spiral Dots ++ get you the most upper highs, and most details. They will also push DM away from ear canal more than others so you can angle the stem to shoot few inches higher from the center - something you can test by taking the hooks off your ear and angle them to shoot higher. The DMs...

Try JVC ++ tips, they extract the most air out of any iem, definitely blue filter and try red or grey stem. You can also try some silver plated cables, they responded well but I still went back to stock.

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Agree, DMs are addictive, I was also confused with them some time ago, but my brain finally accepted them. I have U12T with DX300 amp 12 and while they do almost everything simply perfect DM get my ear time the most, along with Ozar. I took a plane trip recently and realized that Ozars are no go...

I also found that DM respond to cable rolling unlike any other creature I have ever heard. The thin Noble Audio SPC cable is the brightest with any other IEM and the bassiest with DM and the stock 64Audio SPC while being more of the v shaped or bassy with others with DM it is the brightest. I...

Try Ozar with Red nozzle and Blue filter by switching quickly from black, to me the bass is tighter, feels faster and less boomy.

RU6 was on my radar, must still try it - too much praise everywhere

Tips didn't help a lot with air, except Spiral Dots ++, and I prefer harder tips with DM as it seems to work better with bone conduction driver. Try silver plated cable instead tips and use grey stem and blue filter - worked the best for me. SPC cable makes them more v shaped.

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

It depends which IEMs you're going to pair. I mostly listen to DM and Ozar nowadays and with IMR IEMs my IFI Go Blue performs the best of any sources I have. It has flaws like poor Bluetooth range, but on pure SQ and engagement with analog amp stage when I AB it with DX300 AMP 12 I prefer the...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Thanks! I was actually enjoying that bass a lot :) I know grey stem really well, but if you put the red one back does it slam like in the beginning of the burn in?

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I have received Dark Matter 8 days ago and started burn in, at around 30 hours I was hearing a thunderous sub bass slam from DM comparing to my Ozar, and more of a mid forward signature which I liked a lot. I left them playing one track on repeat on normal listening volume and came back at...

Wanted to TWS my Ozars for on the go, bought Fiio UTWS 3 and Fiio's 2Pin connector didn't fit IMR recessed sockets, it also wasn't comfortable with my other IEMs, the short hook was rubbing my ear. Got MMCX version and OEAudio MMCX to 2Pin recessed adapter - worked awesome, it extended the hook...

Try ordering 64 Audio black silicone tips for 6$. I have Spiral Dots, Dots ++, Azla and another 15-20 tips in my collection and nothing beats the bass definition of 64 Audio's with IMR IEMs. Dots are OK with my Ozar, however the bass is more boomy like cheaper sub vs super punchy and defined...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I have just burned in Ozar, driving them with DX300 and IFI Go blue on the go. All I can say I didn't expect them to be that good. I use black lower with blue filter. They respond instantly to cable change, I enjoy them the most with my spare 64 Audio premium SPC cable which hits the bass...

[FiiO FD7/FDX] 12mm dynamic driver with its diaphragm using pure beryllium, with an outer-magnet field, up to 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux.

Try IFI Go Blue with FD7, totally opposite of hipdac which I also love with U12T. Go blue is U shaped with spot on detail retrieval. It matches FD7 better than anything in my possession, including M11Pro and topping D50 stack, brings more sparkle in the top and a gets really nice bass slam. If...

I just got FD7 and I have exactly the same feeling about sub bass as you had comparing to my FD5. "Chant" by Nils Frahm is way too cold, my all BA U12T is moving more air. I have just started burn in. How do try deliver sub post 200hrs comparing to FD5? BTW I love the rest of frequency response

Thanks for detailed and truly competent review! Got FD7 today, burning them in just 6 hours and already noticed quite a substantial change in both extensions. AB them with my current favorite U12t and FD5 and I agree with you 100%... This is probably the best tuned and most organic sounding IEM...

    The Qudelix-5K thread

Just received QX-over, impressive 2 days from SK to USA. Out of the box the drivers are very stiff, don't even put them in...After 4-5 hours they started to open up and move faster. I will update on how much burn in they need to settle finally. I absolutely love what I hear with Low Gain at -6dB...

Sundara balanced on Zen DAC - very loud!

Yes, still testing :) P50 changed my D50S quite a lot, it got less clinical and with A50 the P50 improved the stage to fairly tolerable level, it calms treble a bit and softens the bass notes not in quantity but makes them more analogue. However, the stage is still not on the level of CAN...

It is frickin awesome cable... Tons of details across the spectrum. I was guessing why my M11Pro is still more detailed comparing to D50s and CAN\A50s stack and this was untill I plugged this cable :)
