I had a 07m as customversion, so a 07m with the shell of the OG EJ07. Tuningwise is has more midbass and slightly more uppertreble around 12 to 15kHz. You can crank up the volume till your eardrums bleeding and it sounds very nice. So its only a OG wirh more midbass and upperhighs.

Did somebody know which tips Thieaudio use for the Monarch MK2. For me the white silicone tips sounds perfectly with a graphene cable. I want to know which brand these tips are. Its also okay when you know some similar tips. Similar firmness, stem length and hole diameter.

Thanks for posting this, man! I love this mod so much. Stage is slightly wider and imaging more holographic with this. To me, the FD7 with the Lofty filters is the best DD under 1000 dollar!

Bass was not as refined as from the 5K, imaging was a bit hazy. After burn-in it is much better.

After a burn-in i have to say it sounds much better. Bass is better textured, imaging is more pinpoint and airy and better detail retrieval. It sounds better than the 5K now.

The manual says it can also use as an output. I think i have to burn-in the front amp section.

FD7 can be used without the filter/mesh, but this gonna ruin your imaging and staging. I tried it and its bad! But! I tried a different mesh and it brings the FD7 one level higher!

I use the treble nozzle. Thank you for measuring. This gonna be very interesting. I think this mesh only prevents reflections or add some. :)

Sound quality is awesome, technicalities as well, but every note has a softness to it and doesn't sound very realistic to my ears. For me, the 9038s is a better match.
