    Any Macbook Pro owners?

    I have a 17" MacBook Pro, and there are no major whine issues or anything. It does get kinda warm to the touch on the bottom and near the LCD hinge. Battery life is definitely not the 5.5 hours that apple says it is, probably closer to 2.5-3 hours. But besides the short battery life and minor...

    Computer Synthesizers & Music Programs

    I would say that reason is the way to go, because it has a sequencer and all of that jazz built in, and several good synth "modules" with different kinds of synthesis, like granular, and analog modeling... one thing you might want to think about is getting a midi keyboard, like this one...

    you could get a Korg Microkorg, which can be had for around $300 on eBay. The MicroKorg has a vocoder section, which is responsible for most processed voice sounds, and a 6 voice polyphonic virtual analog synthesizer.

    Printing business cards

    I just got some cards from vista-print, and they look real nice, and they took about a week and a half to get to my house. I'd recommend them, the cards are high quality. I got the glossy faced ones, so i'm not sure how the regular ones would look... as for the pi, you could probably find a...

    Arc'teryx = Really Nice Jackets

    the arc'teryx stuff is really nice, but it is really expensive... and the $400 jackets on there are probably overkill for most everyday things... if you want something similar in quality and features but most likely less expensive, check out Mountain Hardwear, The North Face, or Patagonia...
