Instructions to open Ridax iPod Dock Connector?

there are four tabs on the bottom of the connector, use a small screwdriver to push the tabs towards the edge of the case. Near the actual connector the tabs pull out slightly. Do everything gently. Those two holes on the left and the slots on the right are the tabs.

    impedance adaptor for headphones

Dumb question but help me out here, building a 75 ohm impedance adapter would require running a resister in line on both the left and right channels? Or does the resister connect the left and right channels?

    YUIN PK ear bud mods

I was in Radio Shack the other day and saw these Jabra ear gels, these are made for the Jabra cell phone ear pieces. I bought a package to try out on my PK3 to see if they will channel the sound better like the custom mode available from the retailer in New York (forgot the name). I like...

    CMOY question regarding interference

Currently building another op amp version of the CMOY (2227) and I'm running into a problem. Both the left and right input wires running from the pot give off what sounds like electrical interference when I either touch either wire (or both) or even hold my hand close. Now this won't effect the...

    Yuin PK3 Impressions Thread

Well, I like the sounds coming from these headphones, unfortunately for me they don't fit in my ears very well. They sound muted until I hold them directly over my ear canals, I'm thinking they might work better with Griffin ear jams or the radio partner custom earset.

Can AKG k27i be a replacement of the k26?

I have the JBL 410 cans which are the same phones as the K27i. They're ok but nothing to write home about. I think that the drivers are good, but the housing seems to constrict the sound making it very muddy and inaccurate. I'm still working on trying to find a mod. If you want smaller closed...

    EQUATION AUDIO EARTOOLS: REVIEW

These are (to my ears) a nice set of Headphones, very detailed as one would expect with studio monitors. The build is solid and the cord is very nice. These are sleepers. I picked up a pair on ebay for $35 shipped that were used but still in the box with no signs of wear.
