Okay they don't get mixed reviews around here, but if you're looking for something cheap here they are. As others have mentioned, these are basically retooled AKG K26Ps.

Yes they are coppies and I have read they sound terrible.

Just want to clarify for anyone who might be confused: These are indeed manufactured by AKG.

AKG and JBL have the same parent company - Harman International. The JBL Reference headphones are just a different way of marketing AKG products in some markets where the AKG name isn't as well known.

Edit: They appear to be a K416p with a padded headband:
