Have you tried enabling LDAC in the bluetooth settings for your XM4's? I had this exact issue yesterday on my Samsung A70 and searched for a solution and a guy had posted a video showing that ... connect via BT, then go to the BT settings for the connection and enable LDAC ... mine's works now.

My wife called my mobile a few days ago when I was listening with the Grados ... she sounded clear to me and I asked her if she could hear me OK and she confirmed she could. Not a thorough test in any way but nothing to raise any concerns.

Grado UK confirmed that the standard case is suitable for the GW100 and that they had no info about a dedicated case.
