What would be a good amp to use with 1.2 to drive an hd600?

the tips from the vsonic gr02 bass edition. harshness might even be too strong a word to use come to think of it. the default tips on the kc06a just seem t emphasize bass and treble more making it more u shaped than it is with other tips. i would actually try the other ostry tips but i left them...

The default tips do lend themselves to too much bass imho. I changed mine to my vsonic tips and the bass is some 40 % less, almost close to my vsonic v2 bass ed levels. I haven't tried the other tips that come with the ostry itself but the default ones do add too much bass and a little harshness...

  yup i have both usb 2 and 3. ive tried disabling usb and using windows repair both did not fix it. ill try uninstall/reinstall although i have a feeling its more a hardware problem, but nothing to lose by trying...

i seem to have lost the ability to play the audioquest dragonfly (1.2) in one of the usb ports of my laptop. it work on another port but id rather have it on the other port for ergonomic reasons.    i seem to remember a discussion here aout how to get back usb functionality for the dragonfly...

so dragonfly upscales 16 to 24 bit? wont there be some kind of sound degradation doing this? maybe the reason why asia4all sounds better for you. but afaik, many more people prefer wasapi over asia sq, but like i said , ive been away for awhile so my knowledge isnt exactly mint.

been away a while, but i recently got myself a df 1.2. im trying to make it work with wasapi in fb2000 but is seems like it will not go to 16 bit? so will the df not work in wasapi mode with 16bit files ?

  i see your using aux. is there a way to use the usb port instead? i seem to get much better sound using the usb (with a usb drive) than aux

its been a while since ive been online in headfi.   the last time i tried a dac (fiio e17) didnt work with my s3 and my otg. do i need a specific kind of otg for this to work? how do i find out if my otg is id pin grounded?
