Treble is hot on this iem. Great energy but can be fatiguing real fast. I moved on from the yamaha eph100 to the dn1000s and now to the FLC 8s which i consider an upgrade to the dunu in every level.

Yams have bloated kinda bass and has an overall dark veil and metallic highs which i did not enjoy for metal. I just noticed it after the dn1000 which sounded more natural.

How does the harmony compare to the dunu dn1000?

Nice input. I have listened to Feed her to the sharks and liked them. Harmony better than Forte for metal? I liked the red color of the forte more but if harmony is better im willing to compromise.

I don't see why not... Since the V10 already has the Sabre 32 bit DAC and Amp already built in...why would you "need" to go external? Maybe to connect a mojo in the future. So there are no reported issues yet for the usb dac amp function? Or no one has tried yet?

I found the perfect fit for the dn1ks with just the wide bore silicone tips provided. I also dont use spacers as i find them too cumbersome and gimmicky. I am fond of mildly to moderately Vshaped sound signature because it gives more life and excitement to metal music.

Imo Dunu 1000 trumps the yamaha eph100 for metal. The yams have an enveloping thick bass that adds some veil to the music hence, making the listening experience a tad fatiguing esp for complex genres like metal. The metallic highs didnt help too. Imo the Dunus are overall better without a...
