Anything thats relatively portable, durable, for 200-300 that's bassy? Prefer on ear or over ear w/o too much clamping force. I currently use the crossfade LP's but they're a bit to big to carry around an dpretty much listen only to EDM- tacobff

V moda lp + fiio e11 VS. V moda lp2
They'd be poor studio headphones, but good for electronic music. DT 770 would probably be more versatile, but specifically for electronic, LP's > DT 770- tacobff

You might want to redo the price of Crossfade LP's its often 110 bucks now and can be easily snagged for 70-80 bucks.- tacobff

How durable are CAL's? Like I'm a rough person with my headphones, so I'm not sure what kind of abuse this can go through. Bass quantity/qaulity compared to LP's? Do they clamp hard when you put them around your neck? Like LP's I use clamp all around my neck which makes it very uncomfortable.- tacobff

Noob went and gone dun it again. I need some help/recommendations, not digging my new HD 598s.
You won't like sennheiser's sound. Its much too laid back for a EDM headphone. I bought HD 439's thinking they were "Bassy" but truthfully they arent. At around 200 bucks you have a variety of options,- tacobff

Can annyone do a comparison between Crossfade LP's vs. Pro700 MkII unamped? I heard pro700mkII's only have that bass with an amp. Winner between sub bass?- tacobff

Quote: I listened to xb800s, and honestly overall the in the line of xb's, only the 500 is worth its price. All others are more or less the same, xb500s are best bang for your buck and has the most amount of bass out of the line. You won't get much better than pro700mkII in terms...- tacobff

The hate on beats, why?
The bass is even that great for 200 bucks. Forget about everything else as well. At that point its pretty much a 200$ fashion statement. If you can find a working model for say 70--80 bucks, they might be so-so, but since the lowest price I've ever seen them go was 180 bucks I don't think...- tacobff

Sennheiser hd-439 VS. Sony MDR-XB700
I own the HD 439's and have used xb-700s and I'd go with the xb700s. However in your case which you listen to all kinds of music, the HD 439 might be better. I listen to mainly bass heavy music and found the HD 439 to be too lacking. On music such as rock and such I found them to be a bit...- tacobff

How do the D2000 compare to the HE-400's? Like coming from crossfade LP's how would I affect the quality/quantity of bass? The bass is there, but it feels like there's often something missing from the bass. I heard D2000>He-400 in bass, but the HE-400's design is pretty damn awesome and I...- tacobff
