Please have a look at the Appreciation thread. Its all about needles

EDIT: I can't sleep since I've modded them and fine tuned them. It has been 10 hours non-stop at least today.

And if you want the home work made already, they're for sale as I'm getting the V-Moda M-100's plus an high-end amp ; )

Found the C&C BH on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/BH-Portable-Headphone-AMP-battery/dp/B00A2QJSBO/ref=sr_1_66?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1357827356&sr=1-66&keywords=c%26c+headphone+amp

dubby, please have a look at the C&C thread. It's all there.

Prakhar, theres some little info of my mod on the XB800 appreciation thread, you can have a look at that to get an idea of what was done. My JVC FXZ200 arrived today and the XB800 modded are better.

Can annyone do a comparison between Crossfade LP's vs. Pro700 MkII unamped? I heard pro700mkII's only have that bass with an amp. Winner between sub bass?

Unamped, the Crossfade LP blows the PRO700MK2 out of the water in terms of sheer bass quantity. Mid-bass presence is substantial on the LP, whereas it is "merely" punchy on the Audio-Technica cans. The Crossfade LP is capable of pushing a lot of bass that it sometimes seems that you;'re just listening to a wall of bass, where the bass just comes out as one huge wave slamming at you. Sub-bass extension is where the PRO700MK2 redeems itself. It reaches deep and thanks to its greater clarity, offers better detail. Again, the huge quantity of the LP's bass means you get the rumble, but also the mid-bass slam all presented as one.
