hey guys im planning on buying my first pair of good sounding headphones. im looking for headphones i can use everyday in school, and in a studio. i listen to electronic music and i appreciate good bass. so i need help with this decision in the title. thanks guys.

They'd be poor studio headphones, but good for electronic music. DT 770 would probably be more versatile, but specifically for electronic, LP's > DT 770

To record and master music, regardless of type you want neutral headphones. And even specifically for electronics LP vs DT770 would come down to preference.

But overall if I were to not use this for studio which would be the answer lp with e11 or lp2

Neither of them really needs an amp.
LP and LP2 sound similar but LP2s are more clear. LPs have more bass, but both have a huge amount of bass. I
f you are choosing between only these 2, I would just think about if you will want to upgrade later on or not. If you want to upgrade later on, I would say get the LP for now and use the $100 you save for a better headphone later on. If you don't want to upgrade later on get the LP2, or wait until you can save up for the V-Moda M100.

I still own my LPs and now own the M100's and I have to say the M100's are more clear than the LPs. I still have the LPs because they are great for my 4 yr old to use to watch a movie off my tablet.
