HD for H140 ?
Does anyone know what is the largest compatible Hard Drive for an IRiver H140? I'm thinking of upgrading but not sure what the most current available is. I looked on Mistic River but didn't find any recent posts. I'd also prefer a fairly easy swap if possible.- micaela

What do you call this
I'm a little like that. I write right(tho occasionally I'll write with my left)/shoot left (can only hold my right eye closed) When I put on makeup I do the left side of my face with my left hand & the right side of my face with my right hand. I eat either way depending on if someone is sitting...- micaela

Warning About The Singlepower Extreme - Owners Please Read
Ok - a very basic question. I've had my PPX3 Slam for 3 yrs or so. I am the 2nd owner & not sure how long the original owner used the amp. It is completely stock & has never been sent back to SP for upgrades or repairs. It has operated without any problems as long as I've had it. I've often left...- micaela

Lend a girl a hand deciding on a high-end IEM?
I can't help you in the comparison of IEM's since the only IEM's I have owned have all been Shures. But I thought I'd throw this in since you mentioned having small ears! I'm female too & have trouble wearing buds because they never stay in & are always too big. I was a little worried about...- micaela

Is it better to have a large music collection or a smaller, focused one?

Is it better to have a large music collection or a smaller, focused one?
I do both! I am always on the lookout for new music & new genres that I haven't yet delved into. I have some fairly indepth collections in some areas & not so much in others; but while I might be working to refine my collection in one specific area I'm still buying stuff in other genres that are... -
Headroom Micro DAC: Updated - Full Review
Thanks for a nice review! I agree that the Micro DAC is a great piece of kit. A while back I was given the chance to try a Pico through a loaner program. I briefly compared the dac in the Pico to my Micro DAC and to my Stello DA100. I was not surprised that I heard clear differences between the...- micaela

Mid Hi-fi setup - funds allocation between HF/Amp/Source
I agree that the headphone will most determine the sound signature. I have had fun trying out a variety of headphones over several years. So for my DAC and amp I have settled on pieces that are versatile. I like that both of my DACs have many different input options so I can use just about any...- micaela

Looking for a good pair of behind the neck headphones
I-grado is a little more bass heavy than the KSC75. If you quarter mod the pads it helps open them up a little bit. That means to cut a quarter size hole in the center of the pads.- micaela

HF-2 errors making anyone shy away?
I don't really care whether its an I or a 1. But I don't want to wait a month longer to get the 1 changed to an I. I'd rather take the 1 any day! So I'll gladly take anyone's 1 if they want to trade for a later production date when the problem is fixed.- micaela

Thin Headphones to Put Inside Motorcycle Helmet
I have tried the KSC75 in my helmet & couldn't get it to work. So I ride with my shure e4c's. I like to ride with just enough music to allow me to still hear outside sounds - so i don't get a good tight seal with the Shures & it works fine.- micaela

Can someone recommend me a player about $200?
You might take a look at the Sansa Fuze. You can get an 8g with another 8 available in expansion slot. I paid just over $100 for 16g. The player sounds very good & plays a good variety of codecs. It does not have a line out to take full advantage of a portable amp - but I have seen a thread with...- micaela

The best woodwork you will ever see!!
My Dad has done some pieces similar to that. He used quilting patterns to design them from. He has lots more patience than I do! I've also seen some inlaid floor designs that are quite amazing. Woud like to have a house with an entryway big enough to have a big inlaid design as you walk in! Will...
