Hi everyone,

I'll confess that I'm not an expert when it comes to sound quality and what's good or not. However, a friend of mine introduced me to these KOSS KSC75 headphones a year ago, which I really liked. Unfortunately, they're starting to die on me.

So I've been looking for something new. I tend to prefer behind the neck headphones since I find them a lot more comfortable. I've been told that the sound quality in this isn't that good, so I decided to take a look on Amazon and go by reviews.

I'm leaning towards that first Philips model since I've heard good things about them. I figured I'd ask here first, though. I don't need the best quality, just something decent that does well with bass. Thanks for your help and patience.

iGrado? They are open phones though, not that behind the neck phones tend to isolate a lot lol

I'll suggest you look into Sennheiser PMX100 and iGrado.

It appears as though the PMX100 has more bass.

I've never any of the sound profiles, though. Does anyone know how they compare with each other in terms of sound?

I-grado is a little more bass heavy than the KSC75. If you quarter mod the pads it helps open them up a little bit. That means to cut a quarter size hole in the center of the pads.
