Hi everyone,

I'll confess that I'm not an expert when it comes to sound quality and what's good or not. However, a friend of mine introduced me to these KOSS KSC75 headphones a year ago, which I really liked. Unfortunately, they're starting to die on me.

So I've been looking for something new. I tend to prefer behind the neck headphones since I find them a lot more comfortable. I've been told that the sound quality in this isn't that good, so I decided to take a look on Amazon and go by reviews.

Philips SHS5200 Reflective Neckband Headphones
Altec Lansing AHP223 Behind-The-Neck Headphone
Philips SHS8200/37 Compact Foldable Behind-The-Head Headphone
Sennheiser PMX60 Headphones
Sony MDR-G57G S2 Sports Street Style Headphones with Reflective Ear Piece

I'm leaning towards that first Philips model since I've heard good things about them. I figured I'd ask here first, though. I don't need the best quality, just something decent that does well with bass. Thanks for your help and patience.

Here are the headroom frequency responses for both (if it helps):

Sennheiser PMX 100 @ HeadRoom
Grado iGrado Black @ HeadRoom

And a comparison of the two:

It appears as though the PMX100 has more bass.

I-grado is a little more bass heavy than the KSC75. If you quarter mod the pads it helps open them up a little bit. That means to cut a quarter size hole in the center of the pads.
