What settings do you use most with the iDSD?   For pop, rock, jazz with Beyer T5p I use always: - Xbass - 3D - Minimum Phase Filter   This combination sounds the most musical / exciting to me.

I'm very happy with the sound quality of my iFi IDSD.   However, one thing that happens and surprises me is that battery runs out while I'm listening to it connected to a powered computer.   Shouldn't my MacBookPro be able to power it via USB? Looks like the iDSD spends more power while...

  I'm experiencing something similar on the Micro iDSD connected to a MacBookPro. The USB charges the Micro (if I turn power off the blue led shows) but seems that if I'm listening it consumes more power than is getting from the USB until running out.   Is this normal? Do you have to leave it...

Listening now to the iFi iDSD via the Beyer T5p and sounds very very good. I would say amazing for a portable system.

I've connected the AK240 to my Macbook as a USB dac.  Adjusted Audio Media setup to play sound via the AK240. However no sound from the headphones connected directly to the AK240.   Question: when used as USB dac the AK240 headphone amp is bypassed / I have to use an external amp?   Thanks.

When listening to the SR009, if you shake your head do you listen to noise? My SR009 does an unpleasant noise if I tilt my head... maybe the cable pushed against my shoulders... is this normal?

Initial impressions (paired with Earsonics EM6):   1. Physical build and quality is superb i.e at least on par with an iPhone and I would say higher quality as the body is more complex. The box, the leather case and the AK240 itself all scream high end.   2. Sound quality surpasses anything...

Is it certain that the S5 works flawlessly with the Hugo?   I'm ready to jump and buy a Hugo but struggling to find user reports on S5+Hugo working together to play high resolution 24bit files.

I've the iPhone 5S with the new Apple case.   The problem with that case is that the headphone socket is too narrow to connect my EarSonics (I've the impression that only the oficial Apple headphones will connect through the cover). So I just opened a larger hole in the cover with a knife. Now...

I'm now upgrading from the SM3. What's the value proposition of the SEM6 vs the EM6 given that price is the same? I would expect the custom to be better than the universal but there must be a reason for the SEM6 to exist.
