Does anybody know where one can be purchased? Newegg dont ship here, compgeeks dont have any, and the australian dealers charge far too much

Slightly off topic, but where would you get a cheap amp in australia Jasper? The MS-1 bass is good... but not fantastic. I find it slightly lacking in Hip-Hop/Rap tracks, as well as some dance tracks

I got my MS1's a while ago, and although they are fantastic for rock, I'm just not getting the bass impact I want for Hip-Hop and electronica. Will new pads do the trick, or do I need to invest in an amp? If an amp, which one? keep in mind a students budget ^_^

Having owned both the Sharp MD33's and the HJE50s, I can say that the Sharp MD33s are slightly better in all areas. However, once modded the same way, with foam or cotton over the driver, They sound very similar. The Panasonics have some kind of amazingly wide soundstage that still freaks me out...

Actually after a 3 month stint with the MD33s, the PX100s are starting to sound good with the iPod. I've been burning them in, perhaps this is why? I can actually feel the bass on the iPod now, and its great!

To me, the PX100 sounds BAD from the iPod. Not a good match at all. You get none of the bass thats the PX100s strong suit, and the detail gets muffled too, as do the mids. On my CD player however, the bass comes through strongly, nice detail, and now I know why people regard it so highly. MD33s...

Its a 4g 20gig iPod. Works perfectly, no matter how I jiggle it. I noticed the remote on the iPod has 4 poles too. Maybe this is why it works?

I love my PX100s, but it sounds like all vocals are dulled somehow on everything compared to my MD33's. Is this normal? Any mods to get around this?

Nope, source is an iPod. Checked again on "Taxman" by the Beatles, which has both channels very seperate, I can hear them both

I got Sharp MD33's today, and besides really loving the sound, to my suprise I also discovered they're stereo with out the extension cable.... Are my Sharp MD33's a freaky exception, or am I misunderstanding this whole 4pole, 3 pole thing?
