Bose has stringent requirements that must be met for a vendor to become an authorized reseller. Also, if those who visit Headroom's website are swamped by well known products, they would be (imo) much less likely to experiment with other brands.

Just bought a Nikon F100, my first nikon. Incredible camera. I had earlier purchased an Canon Rebel XSi, I now regret that. I'd like to sell it and buy a Nikon DSLR. Very impressed with Nikon's customer support, ergonomics and build quality.

Just upgraded from QC2s. I've been impressed. I would agree with the OP in that they are slightly less bass heavy, but it seems like an improvement. Excellent when flying, or trying to "zone out."

I have K702s and purchased a Head Direct EF-1 amplifier, which is $299 new and possibly just over $200 used. An excellent match. A DAC converts your computer's digital signal (USB) to an analog signal that the amplifier can read. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the cable you listed...
