got these from ebay for under £90 total i'm quite annoyed because each have their pros and cons, i just want to take the zen vision's divx compatibility, drag & drop, zune's UI, screen and shove it into the ipod's body. next step is to get some headphones!- mudlouse

Sony HD3 case?
i'd imagine sony have a parts line, you could try that. the sony retail shops (i think) have under administration so no luck there, plus they're probably not tightly linked with Sony anyway.- mudlouse

my latest player the stock earbuds (basically some sony ex51s) were good for music but crap as a hands-free. it's because when you're talking whilst using in-ear plugs, you hear yourself, which is more than annoying! regular earbuds do just fine for phone usage and it makes the...- mudlouse

HD3 Dissection part II
are you able to take any pictures of the flap? i don't know what it looks like with it broken off, but i assume you can just hold the ribbon cable on with blue-tack or tape. for the battery, there's no obvious notch on the white connector so i just gently pulled on the cable. if you're...- mudlouse

Sony NW-HD3 (full review)
i had a 33L and the screen didn't work either. i'm guessing if the 38 doesn't work, then the 35 won't either. i also have the 11EL, the screen works, but only shows time when playing.- mudlouse

Sony HD1 case
if cheap is what you want, there are a lot of sony (or other brand) products which have cases for similarly sized products. (take sony's range of slim cameras, which are more widely avaliable than the HD1 - therefore cheaper). i myself found a leather sony case (i presume it's for holding a...- mudlouse

Cases for HD5?
hmm, seems like most of the attractive cases are made of leather. since the HD5 is more or less the same size as some digital cameras (the flat ones from sony or mintola, and so on), it wouldn't be too far off to find something suitable.- mudlouse
