I want to buy a 20gig HD player and a pair of closed cup headphones (earbuds aggravate my ears). I realise because the player may not be used for 3-4 months at a time the battery may deteorate.
Suggest me the best options (please) BTW my music is ripped as mp3 320 bps and FLAC.

the sony hd5 player can hold a decent charge and you can remove the battery when you're not using it.

whilst we're on topic, the battery link said something about lithium batteries are best stored around 40% charged and at as low temp as possible.
