Matrix Audio Mini-i 3 and Mini-i Pro3 DAC
I don't think I do, but could you share what that app would be or what I should search for? I'm on macOS and I'm directly connecting type-C to my M1 Macbook Pro using an Apple type-C cable. I should also note, that this issue is a common problem across a multitude selection of users of Spotify...- zerogun

Matrix Audio Mini-i 3 and Mini-i Pro3 DAC
That's consistent with my experience as well when I was using Tidal (I actually gave up Tidal and switched back to Spotify because the music selection just wasn't for me). Listening through Roon, or Tidal never stutters/chops but for some reason Spotify, without fail, constantly stutters the...- zerogun

Matrix Audio Mini-i 3 and Mini-i Pro3 DAC
Really interested to hear more of your experience with this jump. I switched over from the Element II to the Matrix just today, with a pair of Hifiman Arya's. While I obviously haven't spent any amount of significant time with the Matrix, my initial feeling is that the vocals are a smidge more...- zerogun

Matrix Audio Mini-i 3 and Mini-i Pro3 DAC
hi everyone, just recently received my Matrix and went ahead to check for new firmware. Found new firmware, but then it seems to have froze at around 75% or so. Any recommendations? after some trial, I actually got it bricked for a moment until I discovered how turning on the unit while holding...- zerogun

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
I have contemplated on trying out something separate. Two things hold me back however: Space Uncertain outcomes Space on my desktop isn't such that there's no space, but I do like a clean setup without too many things. That said I definitely could fit in a dedicated dac and amp. The Topping...- zerogun

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
I think I've genuinely found the album that really exemplifies how incredible the Arya SE's are. Erykah Badu – Baduizm. The vocals and the base are just sublime... Running the Arya's off a JDS Element II- zerogun

is there a place where I can learn how to EQ my setup using these settings? I use Roon, but I feel like I'm just moving things up and down and don't know what I'm doing lol- zerogun

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
I'm ready to get a lot of hate from this comparison, but if I'm upgrading from a Deva (wired) to the Arya's am I likely going to hear a reasonable leap in sonic quality with all other aspects controlled? For additional context, I'd be listening to the Arya's off a JDS Element II plugged into my...- zerogun

Devialet IEM - will they sound good and be reliable?
I would have the same sentiments. Sound quality is really good. Vocals are clear and bass thumps. I mostly remedied the issue on fitment by using a pair of Xelastecs. Even it's not a perfect fit, but it at the very least doesn't just fall out my ear when I walk around the city.- zerogun

Devialet IEM - will they sound good and be reliable?
I switched mine to Xelastecs and have found better wear with those also. The stock tips didn't seem to seal well enough, and just a brush on my ears from wearing a mask was enough to have them to drop out my ears.- zerogun

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player
Is there a way to get the artwork to display full width when viewing the tracklist? Currently, tapping on the album artwork enlarges the image to full width which seems like a much better use of space and clarity for the album artwork. On a side note, I can't figure out for the life of me why...- zerogun

Devialet IEM - will they sound good and be reliable?
I'm glad I found this thread. I've been having nothing but battery issues with my Gemini. Each time I want to take them out for a walk to listen to, guaranteed one of the buds are dead. Even if they've been charging in the case, with the USB C cable charging it! I've been reaching out to the CS...- zerogun

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player
yes yes tis I! Perhaps I should clarify, when compared to the desktop amp, it felt comparatively less energetic. It's still certainly enjoyable, but I experienced them differently. I should say that the SR25 probably has enough power out of the balanced for the E5000. That said, relative to the...- zerogun

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player
I just tried connecting a pair of E5000's to the balanced line on the SR25 and I actually think the SR25 doesn't have enough juice to power the E5000's. The E5000 are definitely pretty power hungry, as I noticed an audible difference across the board when I was running them unbalanced out of my...- zerogun

Quite timely to this conversation, as I've finally made the purchase of the E5000. Received it just a few hours ago and I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. I just love the signature of it. It's not clean sounding like my B2's but it's definitely a lot of fun to listen to on bass heavier...- zerogun
