[2021 Update] Venture Electronics (VE) Monk V2, Monk Plus & Monk Go: a $5 earbud that taking the world by storm!!!
So, just wanted to share this story: I have two Monk (V2) and two Monk+ and the Monk are my favorite earbud ever. Even among all my headphones, iems and earbuds, Monk is still my favorite. Used to use them at night, listening to music on my bed and at the office. Now that I’ve been working from...- Semiramide

Hidizs Sonata HD DAC cable - new tiny and mighty DAC&
Same here. I guess it is because Sonata is made for portable purposes, so it will not work "as it should" on a PC. But what would you expect for that price?- Semiramide

Hidizs Sonata HD DAC cable - new tiny and mighty DAC&
Got this last week to try to improve the sound of the office's computer. After fighting with drivers for an hour (Windows 7, had to install them separately), I managed to make it work. After that, upgrading the firmware to "D" was a piece of cake. I'm a bit shocked by the volume power of this...- Semiramide

FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC
Just wanted to say I received my BTR1 today, bought at Fiio’s store in Ali. I’m glad with the product, at least the tests I ran with my Xiaomi phone, iPad, and earphones and speakers went well. I’m still seriously surprised of how tiny it is. I’m still trying to decide if I like the sound...- Semiramide

FiiO X3MKIII || Dual TI PCM5242 || Dual-mode Bluetooth 4.1 || Dual headphone outputs || Balanced Out || 192kHz/32bit
For me, the main difference between X3II and X5II is the sdcard slots in X5II. More than the sound... I've always regretted being cheap and not getting X5II. If I want to listen to classical I have to change cards... :deadhorse:- Semiramide

RUIZU A50 HD - anyone know anything about this player? Or what do you think?
Can anyone confirm if it supports ALAC? This little player is just what I want. I got bored of big, bulky players :deadhorse:- Semiramide

Since E107 is not expensive, I think I'll try getting a new pair and compare, I can't live with the doubt. Once I receive them, I'll let you know.- Semiramide

I don't think is the seal, so maybe I'm too sensitive to high frequencies. Sadly, I have don't have another pair to compare and see if mine is defective. Happened to me once with Brainwvz M5 (I was looking for an upgrade for my M1, which I like lots). I tried them in a physical store and I...- Semiramide

A while ago, when I was looking for iems for small ears, I was recommended Joyroom E107, which I bought. They are indeed very comfortable to wear and do not fall off my ears (hooray!). However, I dislike the sound A LOT. They lack bass (I don't consider myself a basshead, but I appreciate it in...- Semiramide

I don't know of this has been mentioned before, but regarding external playlists I've always read from Fiio the following: "save the playlist as a M3U8 file in the root directory of the SD card". I saved some external playlists in subfolders today and they work perfectly.- Semiramide

The FiiO E10K--all-new DAC and amp stages
Followed your suggestion, but the problem persisted. The ASIO driver was installed. Following this comment, I uninstalled the ASIO driver and the problem got solved. :) It's interesting, though, because Win 10 is very similar to Win 8.1, and ASIO drived did not cause any roblem...- Semiramide

The FiiO E10K--all-new DAC and amp stages
Ok, have an issue I'd like to solve. I just upgraded to Win 10 and started having this random problem with Foobar (my player). When I start a song, or skip, the songs will just hang. Of course this happens only when I use E10K as output. I tried all the settings (no wasapi, wasapi push and...- Semiramide

Yeah, check its thread. There is also a thread specially for rockbox in Xduoo X3. I have never rockboxed anything since my Fiio X3II is the first and only decent player I've had. So rockbox scares me, I don't want to screw up things.- Semiramide

XDuoo X3 DSD 24Bit / 192KHz CS4398 Chip Lossless Music Player
I have a Fiio X3II and I was thinking of getting an Xduoo X3 because of the two sdcards availability. Since I see a lot of rockboxing recommendations, my question is: is it not worthy as it is (non-rockboxed)? I ask because I have never rockboxed anything and I don't want to screw it up ^^;- Semiramide
