The Xiaomi Pistons Thread 2.0
Seems so. I bought mine from bigbargainonline on ebay. ...I hope this is still a good place to order them, I read so on the first thread a long time ago. I'll see what I can do to get them replaced, as they say they have a one-year warranty. I really liked how these sounded, with a nice an...- lon420

The Xiaomi Pistons Thread 2.0
The KSC75 is the only headphone I use for jogging (I use an arm band), and given how cheap they are, each KSC75 still quite last long under this harder type of use. In the month and a half I've owned them, I've treated the Pistons the same as I do any other mid-to-high end IEM in my collection...- lon420

The Xiaomi Pistons Thread 2.0
I was using my Pistons that I've had for about a month and a half and the right earphone goes out unexpectedly. I try and play with the jack and need to press in in order to get sound... after some fiddling around, getting sound intermittently, it seems to have totally gone out now. This has...- lon420

Monster Turbine Gold vs Copper
Well, my Golds have recently bit the dust. Warranty is not an option for me, as I bought them used on this very forum about... let me check... roughly over half a year ago. Yeah, I did treat them pretty rough, and needless to say, I'm regretting it now. I'm listening to my partially-defective...- lon420

Please tell me that U.E. t.fi 10's need break in time!
I'll admit that I'm never fully satisfied with the TF10s without listening to them without a Fiio E5. I agree with many others that they DO sound rather blanketed and muddy when used straight from a computer/portable player. My seal has always been good from the get-go, but the flipflop mod...- lon420

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
^ Great to hear! Although I never had any trouble with fitting my TF10s, I decided to do the flip-flop mod for the first time, just for the hell of it. And I gotta say, these are how the TF10s should have been designed to fit from the very beginning. It's a very comfy, confident fit with no...- lon420

triple.fi 10 vocals sound muffled
I usually listen to my TF10s straight from my Walkman; sometimes they sound great and involving, sometimes they sound muffled and boring. We're not just talking about just vocals that are sounding cloudy, we're talking about almost everything in the midrange spectrum, right? I think I know...- lon420

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
^ Not at all, but good God... I'd like to know how that happened. A few days ago, my TF10s were caught in between the door of my car... good thing the door shut gently, and they were fine. Scared the **** outta me, though.- lon420

Your view/verdict on MB Dr DRE IEM's
Whoa... I had no idea. Those pics made me second guess mine... hell, I still AM second guessing mine right now. Aside from SQ, are there any definitive differences between the fakes and genuine articles?- lon420

I find it to be quite nice; Not too boomy and reasonably well-controlled. They are known for being lighter in the bass department than other IEMs, so I wouldn't be surprised if you consider them bass light. Get a good seal, give 'em some head time, and you'll know what everyone's talking about...- lon420

Your view/verdict on MB Dr DRE IEM's
Contrary to popular belief, these aren't just reshelled Turbines. I personally like the Turbine better between the two Monster 'phones, my biggest gripe with the Beats being that they sound a bit too "congested". Separation between instruments isn't too great, overall soundstaging could be...- lon420

I've tried my large Monster triple flanges on mine; they fit on the TF10s perfectly, but fit inside my ear painfully. After much experimenting with various tips of all shapes and sizes, I've settled on the medium-sized UEs... they fit in my ear easy and sound great.- lon420

jant71, I know exactly what you mean. I've heard good things about the FS/Westone cables, but neither of their websites ship to my location. Ah well, I'm well above content with the stock cables, and have the Enyos as backups, so I should be okay for now- lon420

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Just received my Null Audio Enyo cables recently, and I'm not quite sure if I prefer them over the stock cables. Now, I don't think I'm one for V-shaped sigs, but they do seem to have a mid-centric signature that does take away a bit from the transparency/separation of the stock cables' sound...- lon420

WARNING: Fake IE8s! Comparison pictures included!!
Thanks SV, this should be useful for anyone considering a pair of too-good-to-be-true IE8s, 'specially on eBay. The ESW9, ESW10JPN, and now the IE8... wow, wonder what awesome, somewhat obscure high-end headphone they'll counterfeit next- lon420

Question about Triple.Fi 10 Build Quality
No prob - I definitely understand why many would think the build of UE headphones would plummet after the Logitech takeover, but again, it's more than likely that that general dislike that people have for Logitech that started the rumor. Them not covering cables does indeed suck (so does the one...- lon420

JH13 and an Obsession
I'm in the same situation as deus. Love my Triple Fis, and can't even imagine how amazing the JH-13 would sound... Cost of ear impressions + $1,100... that's no joke, but I guess I should be starting a JH-13 fund soon.- lon420
