Intermittent buzzing, fuzz, blips, bleeps when using DAC amp: Why?
I can often hear an intermittent buzzing/fuzz sound and some random blips and bleeps when I listen to music on my computer through my (old school!) HeadRoom Total Bithead and my Fiio E17 Alpen amp (using Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones). This happens no matter which computer I use and on all USB...- g500tec

maximum bass
You might want to try getting an amp with a bass boost feature. I have a JDS bass boost cmoy. It's cheap, and the bass boost is great.- g500tec

Check out the JSeaber cMoy v2.01 JDS Labs I use it with my DT770's. With the bass boost switch on, it delivers tons of bass. Very nice and affordable too.- g500tec

dt770 for less?
I bought mine from nordeq1 on ebay. He/she always has them for sale there for $149. There's one for sale there now, with free shipping. I had a 100% positive experience with that seller.- g500tec

RP-21 or RP-22x? Buying soon.
I used to have the RP-22X's. They have serious bass—more than SR 60 and DT770 (both of which I have). I liked it quite a lot. Part of the earpad does rest on the ear, but this did not seem to me to cause them to leak sound. The earpad design helps make the bass so great because it allows you to...- g500tec

Duggeh, almost every question asked here has been asked a million times, but it is notoriously hard to find old threads via the search function, so questions keep getting re-asked, and head-fi lives on.- g500tec

After three years with my SR-60s, I am soon to retire them.
I, too, have the SR60s with comfies and bowls, and I, too, prefer the comfies to the bowls. The comfies are just so much more, well, comfy, and contrary to what many say, seem to enhance the bass. Every time I put on the bowls on my SR60s, I take them off almost immediately and put the comfies...- g500tec

Equation Audio RP-22X are great for bass heavy music like rap. probably not as comfortable as the QC2's though. but i really like them.- g500tec
