The first up is a Pink, White, Brown, Purple, Blue noise generation. Allowing for the simultaneous playback of all of the above! A must have for earphone & equipment burn in.

Next up is a easy way to tame mp3 files that have been recorded to loud or low (and may be clipping). The software will analyze the music file and report the recorded level in decibels and if the file is clipping. The default setting is 89db, but it is user adjustable up or down. It's fast and really simple to use.

I used SFT a lot when doing some active crossover work. It trains you to identify different frequencies by ear which helps out a lot when you are trying to smooth out response using crossovers, eq, etc.. Even with my RTA handy, I find knowing the frequencies by ear helpful.
