I also posted this in the portable section but this is for full sized headphones.
I already have many mid-high end IEM's, but I was wondering what are the bassiestheadphones I can get, im going to use these mostly for gaming and sometimes for movies so highs/mids and detail is not all that important to me.
I want a movie theater like bass, intense bass quantity.

The HD 202 are the bassiest I have heard under $40. I hear the HD 205 are even bassier.

Maybe the Sony XB300.  For a little more money you could get the XB500 or XB700 for even more bass.

i would check out koss or beyer, but if i were you i would save a bit and get some ultrasone hfi 580

i wanta try those or the hfi 780, which ever has more bass punch,,

you can have all the bass in the world but if there is no detail it is mud, and that means no punch which means no fun

good luck

i hope 10$ isn't much, extend your budget by it and get the xb500, guaranteed to blow you away with awesomeness.

I also tried the xb300 but it was very muddy and all, but i tried it at a sony store for a couple of mins only.

This. No, seriously, if you TRULY want bass, save up the extra $10 and be prepared for the thumpiest ride of your life.

It's my guilty pleasure for a reason. XB500, just do it. EQ for even better results.
