Quiet listening with IEMs
When I listen to my music at work with my new westone 3's I find that I am using the lowest volume setting (HP out, 4th gen iPod) and I would still like the volume to be a little bit quieter. But basically all I can expect from a DAP is to as closely as possible represent the waveform given to it under loaded conditions. I never called it a "ZAP OF DOOM" but the BEAST layeth before thine eyes! as for the coasters these are REAL coasters not those cheap polycarbonate ones :P! They are in USE, GEEZ they help remove reflections of sound they open up the mids and give a cleaner more responsive bass!!- canadiandude

I myself can give advice on headphones but when it comes to IEMS im lost. I told him to look at the following Super.fi 3 studio Etymotic ER6i and the 6i Shure E2c Westone UM1 I am actually interested in IEMS myself but my pricerange is more like 250USD maybe ill reward myself next...- canadiandude

Should I switch from Ultrasone HFI 700 to ATH A900???
I had a chance to listen to the Ultrasonne Proline 650, and they were pretty good, I however have not heard the HFI 700 but from what i have read they are more bassy and bloated (unnatural bass) than the HFI-650 OR the Proline 650, I own the AT - ATH-A900LTD and love them.
