Dared MP-5 Headphone & Integrated Amp with USB DAC
I checked the ALO website and it seems they are Sold Out. Does anyone know of another source to buy a US version? I have found a couple on sale on E-Bay but I believe they are the Asian models.- Cerith

Sony Vaio Pocket VGF-AP1L vs ipod video 5g
I have owned both and both have their strengths and weaknesses. I had the Sony Pocket VAIO 40gb for 10 months at which point I sold it to get a new video capable iPod (30 gb). I loved the pocket VAIO but had a few issues with it that I felt the iPod addressed, even though I feel the iPod has...- Cerith

Use Creative Nomad Line With Macs
Came across this software today. Thought all those with Creative mp3 players that own a Mac might find interesting. This is an iTunes like program allowing you to use your Creative player with a Mac. http://www.wentnet.com/projects/xnjb/- Cerith

White Noise from 5G iPod?
I can hear the white noise with my e4c's and 5G iPod 30gb. It is faint, but there. It does NOT go away when the music is on, I can hear it on soft passages or silent passages in songs. I just switched over to the iPod from a Sony Pocket VAIO and the Sony was completely silent with the e4c's...- Cerith

SonicStage 3.2 ...
I upgraded from SS 3.1 to SS 3.2 and did not have to re-initialize my Pocket VAIO. Worked perfect. All 8000+ songs showed up in my library and the pocket VAIO connected and I was able to transfer songs without a problem. 3.2 is faster and seems more responsive than 3.1. I am happy with it.- Cerith

Sony Vaio Pocket Issues & Audio Formats
You without a doubt want to go into an auxilery port on the HU. If your HU supports a CD changer you will have an input on the back of the unit. If so go here and pick up one of these adaptor cables. http://www.logjamelectronics.com/auxinpconv.html If not then get a HU which has an input...- Cerith

VAIO pocket vs Zen Touch
My first HD based DAP was a 30gb Zen Xtra, I then purchased a Pocket Vaio once it supported MP3 natively this past January. During the time I owned both (ended up selling the xtra) I found that the Sony did indeed beat the Zen in most category's. Without a doubt the build quality between the two...- Cerith
