Well, so far the word is it is not backwards compatible but I wouldn't think Sony is that dumb if it's going to be the new interfact to Connect.

Well I guess the idea is to get you to use their (Sony) downloads and not your library. Screw that!

The picture shows "older" devices such as the HMP-A1 and the NW-HD5, so I would hope that the new program works with 'em.
