Audalytic AH90 - All in one Streamer, DAC, Heapphone Amp
Tidal always worked with iOS devices but not on Android. It seems Android users need a former version of the Tidal app. Gustard R26 thread- holzohr

Audalytic AH90 - All in one Streamer, DAC, Heapphone Amp
No, it was not fixed. Still a problem though not on Roon or with the HQPlayer. It is (in my case) a problem when using the JPlay iOS app. The settings get lost each time thank to the changing MAC address.- holzohr

Audalytic AH90 - All in one Streamer, DAC, Heapphone Amp
@GUSTARD really should fix this, finally. I have run into the issue that Roon neither could detect my KEF LS50 II nor the AH90, yesterday. The reason was that my router gave the AH90 the same ip address the KEFs already have (their ip address is fixed). The problem was solved by switching from...- holzohr

Audalytic AH90 - All in one Streamer, DAC, Heapphone Amp
The sound from DAC and the volume set to FIXed is indeed appealing to me. I am still not sure about the quality of the headphone amp. I am not the expert and only have a dusty AKG K712 at the moment. The question is if to keep the AH90 or send it back to go the A26 route. I have lots of...- holzohr

Audalytic AH90 - All in one Streamer, DAC, Heapphone Amp
Is there a way to go into the Gustarender settings? I would like to set a fix ip address. Each time when I change the input from LAN to USB and back the LAN connection gets rebuild with a new ip address. JPLAY via UPnP was stable after I set update intervall on 12000 and 'safe transistion mode'...- holzohr

I am not using Qobuz but just tried the app. The Gustarender is only visible and possible to use via Airplay/Bluetooth. When you have an iOS device the JPLAY iOS app is probably the way to go.- holzohr

The AH90 arrived today. Tidal Connect is working. The same with Spotify Connect, Roon Bridge, NAA and as UPnP renderer (in my case with JPLAY iOS app). The Gustarender version is 1v43.- holzohr

iFi audio Pro iDSD (Official) - NEW Firmware - MQA and more.
I went back to firmware 2.01. I had the feeling that the ethernet connection was not that stable (wired lan) with 2.08. Also the playback always stopped when I switched from "APP" to another input (and the chosen album/playlist vanished, I had to chose it again for playback). With 2.01 I have...- holzohr

You will need a Holo Spring II or Denafrips Terminator II or Denafrips Ares II to play these DSD 1024 files, natively. HQPlayer supports native playback and upsampling to DSD 1024.- holzohr

Hmm.. it doesn't work with the Windows version of HQPlayer either. It refuses to play them. And the same as in Linux: DSD512 is maximum. I would like to know how did you play these DSD1024 files from nativeDSD with the Pro iDSD. Which OS and which player? Did you test/play them at all, natively...- holzohr

Wow! Could you please describe how you have managed this? Do I need a Windows system for DSD1024? I use Linux (Euphony Stylus and HQPlayer). DSD512 is the maximum here.- holzohr

iFi audio Pro iDSD (Official) - NEW Firmware - MQA and more.
The USB port of the DAC is reserved for HQPlayer and Jplay Femto. How did you realize the direct ethernet connection? Yes, the ifi would work the same way but you must have such an UPnP-bridge (as a kind of "Squeezelite-device") in your network. Hmm.. you would not lose anything I think. Not...- holzohr

iFi audio Pro iDSD (Official) - NEW Firmware - MQA and more.
No USB involved. With the Sonore UPnP app you can use any UPnP renderer as endpoint for Roon. It's part of the SonicOrbiter OS since version 2.7 (or already 2.6 not sure). I already had posted about this on the ifi Pro iDSD thread on computeraudiophile when I had a microRendu. I have sold my...- holzohr

iFi audio Pro iDSD (Official) - NEW Firmware - MQA and more.
Hello, Roon works with Pro iDSD's ethernet port the way as described in this JPlay thread: http://jplay.eu/forum/index.php?/topic/2783-roon-with-jplayfemto-it-is-possible/ All you need is the upnp-bridge. A microRendu or ultraRendu with Sonore's UPnP app will do it, too. And you must activate...- holzohr

Oppo HA-1 Impressions Thread
Not really the only way. The Oppo accepts DSD (DoP) via SPDIF, Toslink and AES/EBU. At least mine does it. http://www.head-fi.org/t/717834/oppo-ha-1-impressions-thread/1680#post_10870460- holzohr

Oppo HA-1 Impressions Thread
I had the Black Dragon and the Hydra Z (both from Audiobyte) here two-three weeks ago. A really great package in sound quality! Unfortunately, the Black Dragon lost much of its magic when connected to the Oppo via analog XLR. Apart of this the HA-1 beats the BD in haptics (WAF!) and convenience...- holzohr

Anyone using the USB Regen from UpTone Audio? It arrived here yesterday and all I can say is whoa! It makes the Oppo to a "better DAC" lol After I sold my Auralic Aries I missed some "sound quality".
