https://www.alpha-audio.net/background/a-fiber-network-for-audio/I mentioned this to my partner who is an IT expert and responsible within a huge data center. She did not believe that a digital cable will pass noise from an access point. Is there a site that has measured this?

Would there be any advantage connecting an Intona USB isolator (7054-X) between my laptop and this DAC or would the Intona be redundant?
My laptop only has one USB-C output but have some spare USB-A ports on the dock I use with it. The Intona is USB-A. Using USB-A up until the DAC won't affect the sound quality, right?

Using the hub is not a big problem.
At the same time, excellent quality cables, whether C-C or A-C, will not make much difference.
But it is recommended to use Bluetooth to connect your mouse and keyboard instead of letting them share the same USB HUB with the USB audio device

Glad we can release a beta version with NOS and DSD passthrough
https://www.mediafire.com/file/u5x74ct7fqlzqtm/AH90_CT_m1.05beta_with_dsddirect.zip/file
Also, if you run into any issues or don't like the new version, you can go back to the old version

Is this just to achieve a darker quality more free of hiss or measurable frequencies in the range of human hearing? When a cable comes out the other side after the galvanic treatment and is then installed into the DAC, the principles of electronic magnetism return, do they not? How did and do you experience the difference between the two methods? I am interested.2 fiber convertors total.
Basically think you have a dirty side( modem, router, switch, 1st fiber converter) then a clean side side (2nd fiber convertor, Dac)
The fiber cable connects the two sides.
Use as many linear power supplies as you can afford.

Can you keep us posted on any feedback from the beta version? Is this version you have released, the official release, or a pre-release?Glad we can release a beta version with NOS and DSD passthrough

Is this the official release of these? Are these to be installed over the USB cable or onto the bridge card? I am new here, so I want to do everything correctly.

Thank you very much @GUSTARD

Great job @GUSTARD Now watch sales explode!
The fiber convertors strips all noise off that has accumulated on the signal. You connect the 2nd fiber convertor as close to your dac as possible with a super short Ethernet cable. 50cm or less.Is this just to achieve a darker quality more free of hiss or measurable frequencies in the range of human hearing? It’s a pretty night and day noticible change.
Gustard is releasing a switch N18 and N18pro with fiber ports exactly for this reason.

For DSD direct use.
The DAC chip of the AH90(AK4499EX) only supports 128x and 256x DSD rates.
So DSD64/DSD512 is out of the question.
Enable DSD Direct mode and set DSD Filter to wide. If you have HQPlayer set the output to 44.1k x256 and use one of the ASDM7EC group of modulators.

Where are the installation instructions for the upgrade. One doesn't want to turn the unit into a brick by doing the update improperly. Is this an idiot proof update and if so, how does a beginner do it. Owning a 600 brick is not a good way to celebrate the holidays.Glad we can release a beta version with NOS and DSD passthrough

I would be grateful to you if you would please send me the instructions you used to make the update. I am not experienced and do want to turn my machine into a brick. Thanks in advance,Via USB cable. The update went smoothly.
