Does anyone know if this device supports gapless playback over upnp/dlna?
I will be able to play my favourite pink floyd album "the dark side of the moon" without pausing between songs.
Thank you and Merry Christmas

So you suggest to run Roon on your main source for playing music and link to your available sources from it. It isn't necessary to have Roon on you NAS etc??
Roon is installed on my dedicated computer, that’s connected to a fiber switch.
So the chain looks like this.
Modem >Wifi router> Switch with fiber port>fiber to Teradak fiber media convertor>Ethernet into LAN A26

I have been streaming YouTube High Res sources and it is working for me. If your sources are lossless I would expect it to play them.

Thanks for the clarification. We don't have fiber here yet. Clearly understandable thanks. I am going to take your suggestion for JPlay.

It’s an antennae take can pick up all sorts of RF and potentially transmit that into the dac.
Yes a brillant solution. So you set up your wlan to funk to your access point you run the cable from the access point to the converter. Run the fiber optics out of the converter to the next and then you are finished. after connecting a new communications cable. Does the power supply number you supplied perfect part of that process?

I found a great website in German which explained the function very well. Now I will look at the video. So I need just one machine or two?
2 fiber convertors total.
Basically think you have a dirty side( modem, router, switch, 1st fiber converter) then a clean side side (2nd fiber convertor, Dac)
The fiber cable connects the two sides.
Use as many linear power supplies as you can afford.

I mentioned this to my partner who is an IT expert and responsible within a huge data center. She did not believe that a digital cable will pass noise from an access point. Is there a site that has measured this?
