How's the Grado/Burson pairing? I had the Empyreans and Soloist for a short period and it worked really well in making the Empyreans a little less relaxed. Wondering how it does with Grados.

Assuming you’re referring to the orange glow, that's what happens after leaving it on for a week straight. Had to take it out with forceps. In all seriousness, that’s a usb salt lamp. Makes the sound more palatable.

Finally got a new tube to try after 14 months.

I’ve had mine since it was released, so about 14 months. No issues at all. Never gets too hot to touch, just warm. Also stacked on top of a BF2.

Received my matte silver knobs for my Lokius today. Looks pretty good I think. Definitely a match for my other Schiit gear. However, two knobs had markings on them, so l’ll be trying to replace those.

I think another idea would be to sell the knobs as “bundles” (in addition to single knobs of course). So, from the drop down, we can select the “Lokius bundle”, ”Loki bundle”, etc.

Correct. When I turn the knob, it feels as if it’s scratching the case. However, ensuring there’s a slight gap fixed the issue. Now it’s smooth as ever. The new knob is definitely more premium feeling than the one that came with the Lokius.

All the posts about the GS3000x are rekindling my temptation to buy it. I went to the Audio46 shop while I was in New York, and fortunately/unfortunately they didn’t have a demo unit to audition. The store had 1 available for purchase, but can’t justify without listening.
